Suppression of religious expression

In the last 230 years of our country’s history never have we seen such an attempt to remove the rights of the people such as we have seen in recent times. Removing pray from our public schools. Telling them that they can no longer sing the Pledge of Allegiance in class. This is in fact a liberal idea and a subversive attempt to destroy the idea of America. Case in point…

Taking God Out Of One Public School Classroom

Source:

http://educationwonk.blogspot.com/2007/05/taking-god-out-of-one-public-school.html

How much freedom should a public school teacher have to express his or her religious beliefs on his or her classroom walls? That question is being hotly debated in one San Diego-area classroom where administrators ordered one veteran teacher to remove materials from his classroom walls that refer to the Deity:

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced today that it has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Poway Unified School District, located in San Diego, California. The lawsuit was brought on behalf of Brad Johnson, a respected teacher who has been teaching in the school district for 30 years. The lawsuit claims that school officials violated Johnson’s constitutional rights by ordering him to remove several educational banners from his classroom walls because, according to these officials, the banners promote a “Judeo-Christian” viewpoint.

The banners, which Johnson had displayed in his classroom without complaint for nearly 25 years, contained the following phrases: “In God We Trust,” the official motto of the United States; “One Nation Under God,” the 1954 amendment to the Pledge of Allegiance; “God Bless America,” a patriotic song considered to be the unofficial national anthem of the United States; “God Shed His Grace On Thee,” a line from “America the Beautiful,” a popular patriotic song; and “All Men Are Created Equal, They Are Endowed By Their Creator,” an excerpt from the preamble to the Declaration of Independence. School officials objected to the banners because they included the words “God” and “Creator.”

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel for the Law Center, commented, “Cleansing our Nation’s classrooms of our religious heritage and history and imposing viewpoint restrictions on speech to silence such expressions advance no legitimate educational purpose. In fact, such actions undermine the primary purpose of public education: to prepare students for citizenship in our Republic.”

The lawsuit alleges that the school district violated Johnson’s constitutional rights by imposing a viewpoint-based restriction on his speech. It further alleges that this restriction “serves no valid educational purpose, is not reasonably related to any legitimate pedagogical concern, and conveys a government-sponsored message of disapproval of and hostility toward religion” in violation of the United States and California Constitutions.

Robert Muise, the Law Center attorney handling the case, commented, “It is without question that religious people founded this Nation. As a result, references to God are common in our songs, mottoes, and slogans. And it is the responsibility of our Nation’s public schools to educate students to be informed citizens. Consequently, it is the responsibility of all public school teachers, including Mr. Johnson, to educate students regarding our Nation’s history and its founding. Mr. Johnson’s educational banners serve that purpose.”

The lawsuit seeks to have the speech restriction overturned so that Johnson can continue to display his banners, as he had been for 25 years.

“Without God, there is no virtue, because there’s no prompting of
the conscience. Without God, we’re mired in the material, that
flat world that tells us only what the senses perceive. Without
God, there is a coarsening of the society. And without God,
democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that
we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”

– Ronald Reagan

America the idea!

This is what this country needs more of. I realize it has a Catholic theme but had they made it without making it look like a catholic theme it would have help rally the American spirit in all of us which has died in most of us. Except for the true patriots in this nation. Those of us who believe in the idea of America. Americans are afraid to fight. You have lost the desire. You have stopped believing in yourselves and in America and what it stands for.

Jimmie Doolittle once said “there is nothing stronger then a volunteer”. He said this while on board the USS Hornet in March of 1942 sailing toward Japan for the first air strike after Pearl Harbor.

Our flag was paid for by the blood of Americans. NOT by the liberals. Not by illegal aliens. It was American Marines who planted the flag at Iowa Jima.

Merriam-Webster’s definition of surrender:

a: To yield to the power, control, or possession of another upon compulsion or demand
b: to give up completely or agree to forgo especially in favor of another.

We encourage all of you to watch this. We got this link from the word press site and we really love it. Ignore the theme and see the light through the trees and see the real message in it.

http://www.noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/09/20/what-do-you-think-of-this-catholic-ad/

It was once said that “you are in control, until or unless, you give up that control”.

America, stay the course, hold the line, stay with her, fight for her, defend her against all enemies foreign “and” domestic. Fight to preserve what she was founded upon. America is crying out for us to save her. We have a “CHOICE”. If we choose wisely then America can be saved from the disease of liberalism that destroyed Ancient Rome. No that is not an opinion. It is historical fact. Don’t believe it. We don’t care. Do your homework. We did and still do.

S T A Y  W I T H  H E R,  H O L D  T H E  L I N E.

WE WILL NEVER GIVE IN, WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER.

‘Obama Wins!,’ newspaper declares

No surprise any newspaper would try this one. We’re surprised that CNN, MSNBC and other liberal left one sided, Obama worshiping media hasn’t tried it yet.

Typical for a liberal to declare victory before the battle is won.

History always repeats itself for those who pay attention to it.

Obama Urges Voters

Obama Urges Voters to Take Day Off From Work to Help Campaign on Election Day
Barack Obama’s campaign is urging voters to take off a day from work or school on Election Day so they can help him win.

FOXNews.com

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

A new 30-second spot on Barack Obama’s Web site is urging voters to “talk to your boss” or professor and then take the day off from work or school to volunteer for his campaign on Election Day.

The “Take the Day” campaign suggests voters sign up to go to battleground states or work in phone banks closer to home on Nov. 4, when they would normally be at work or in class.

“We can’t win this election unless every Obama supporter gets out and votes on November 4th. To do that, we need a massive team of volunteers helping us. Can you take next Tuesday off from work, join the final push, and make sure that everyone who supports Barack turns out to vote?” asks the Web page hosting the ad.

On the trail, Obama has been encouraging voters to go to the polls for early voting, and reports from several states are that Democrats are going into the voting booths in larger numbers than Republicans.

On Tuesday, several thousand people came out in a cold and steady rain to hear Obama address an outdoor rally at Widener University, outside Philadelphia.

“I just want all of you to know that if we see this kind of dedication on Election Day, there is no way that we’re not going to bring change to America,” he told the shivering crowd.

Obamerica!

Have you ever thought about why this country is changing for the worst?

Thanks to the liberal left lost sheep who refuse to listen to anyone that disagrees with them, and wants to punish or prosecute anyone who does, the America as we once knew it is fading away into history. Political correctness and liberalism has destroyed the very fabric of this nation. Political correctness when properly translated actually means “political cowardliness”.

Those politicians responsible for putting our country into such debt are in fact cowards that are above the law and cannot be prosecuted. Much like liberals. It must be nice to be the cause of a national financial melt down and cause many companies to lay off good workers because they can no longer afford to pay them and get away with it.

If anyone of the rest of us non politicians caused our employers to loose billions we would be immediately fired and would not receive any unemployment benefits or any other of any kind.

The lack of immigration control over the last 100 or so years in combination with more recent events such as allowing a very junior senator with less then a years worth of experience to run for president, and not, even do a background check to reveal how he allied himself with a well known and well documented domestic terrorist, whose wife was only recently proud to be an American who’s mother was married more then once, who was spoon fed his entire life, whose background will not be challenged by the liberal media, who refuses to salute the American flag or swear into the senate on the Christian Bible, who is an admitted Muslim, who has admitted that he wants to ban hand guns or bullets, who supports the idea of socialism and wants to punish those of us who work hard for our money by giving it away to those who have not earned it, who somehow magically didn’t hear a single anti-American word spoken in his church for 20 years, who is (well documented) committing fraud against the American voters, who is simply walking right into the highest seat in our government without anyone questioning his background or connections, who will in fact be tested during his first six months in office, will result in Americans loosing more of their civil liberties and rights. Turning America into Obamerica.

Obama sticker

Obama sticker

In the land of Political Cowardess, this Obama sticker is a timeless classic that will earn you lectures long after the 2008 election is over. Those lectures will be in English, incidentally – after all, the people we’re insulting can’t read our sticker.  And therein lies the secret beauty.

The true Americans and patriots of this country who actually have backbone and don’t give a rip about being PC will be ready when our country needs us. Just as we did 230 years ago.

There is more evidence and facts to numerous to list. Liberals denying facts does not make liberals right and everyone else wrong. Denying well known and well documented facts just makes you look stupid. The difference between a liberal and a conservative is conservatives (at least most) don’t use violence, threats and intimidation to solve their differences and problems. Conservatives don’t threaten those who disagree with them.

To deny these facts is to fly in the face of all evidence!

Barack Hussein Obama Indoctrination In School Books

The liberal left is using our own mechanisms to subvert and manipulate our children and our system of education. Perhaps the other 45% in this country need to start their own ‘community organizers’? Can you imagine the cataclysmic confrontation that would result? They, the Left, does not expect the Silent Majority to organize. What if we did? A beat down of this maneuver is in order. Never underestimate the resolve of true Americans. We defeated the ideas of anti-America once before. We can and will do it again!

Something Thomas Jefferson once said

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

All of Bidens speech in Seattle

Source: ABC News

Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”

The Delaware lawmaker managed to rake in an estimated $1 million total from his two money hauls at the downtown Sheraton, the same hotel where four years ago Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., clinched the Democratic nomination. Despite warning about the difficulties the next administration will face, Biden said the Democratic ticket is equipped to meet the challenges head on.

“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”

“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”

Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden “alive and well” and Pakistan “bristling with nuclear weapons.”

“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”

“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”

After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom.

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

“All kidding aside, these guys have left us in a God-awful place,” he then said of the Bush regime, promptly wrapping up his remarks. “We have the ability to straighten it out. It’s gonna take a little bit of time, so I ask you to stay with us. Stay with us.”
